Layered Salad Recipes for Unique Taste and Healthy

Last weekend, I threw a party and made these salads and trust me; my family members and friends almost went crazy eating them. Some of them can’t help asking the recipe as well. Let’s have a look at those layered salad recipes.
Twenty Four Hour Layered Salad
- Half head leaf lettuce
- Half bunch spinach (fresh)
- 1 cup of celery, sliced
- 1 cup of fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 5 boiled eggs, sliced
- 2 cups of peas
- 1/2 finely chopped green bell pepper,
- 1/4 cup of bacon (cooked)
- One and half cups Cheddar cheese, shredded
- 2 tablespoons of sugar
- 1 cup sour cream
First, take a bowl. Then, place lettuce, spinach, celery, mushrooms, eggs, peas, bell pepper, green onions, and water chestnuts. Mix them properly. In a separate bowl, make sure to combine the mayonnaise, sour cream, and sugar. Now, add this mixture on the salad ingredients. Then, sprinkle cheddar cheese on it and place bacon on the top of it. Cover the bowl and refrigerate it for 24 hours. After that, your layered salad is ready to serve.
Layered Pea Salad
- 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 head iceberg lettuce, torn into bite-sized pieces
The first thing you will do is take salad dressing and sugar in a large bowl. Then, stir together. Continue stirring until sugar softened. Next, add peas and chopped green pepper. Try to mix them lightly. Now, spread the pea mixture properly through the lowermost of the bowl. After that, arrange lettuce over the pea mixture and layer the cheddar cheese on the top of the lettuce. For final touch, sprinkle bacon bits over the cheese and leave it for at least 8 hours.
